Purtroppo, questa notizia deluderà tantissimo molti fans che lo aspettavano, ma KB stessa ha confermato che non è in progetto la pubblicazione del tanto atteso DVD di BEFORE THE DAWN...Sul numero uscito in questi giorni di MOJO, lo conferma in una sua intervista esclusiva. Le riprese sono state effettuate in quelle 2 famose date, ma il materiale in pratica è stato archiviato....(?!). Ecco un estratto dell'intervista:
Mojo: Is there going to be a DVD as well? It was filmed after all…
Kate: It was filmed. And it has been archived. But there are no current plans to bring out a DVD. I think that the CD is, in a way, much more representative of being at the shows than a DVD. When you’re at a live show it’s the whole experience of sitting in an audience, you can scan the stage, choose where to look, it’s completely different from film.
Mojo: Obviously it was such a visual experience, a visual delight, it would be a shame to lose that.
Kate: Well, I dunno, there might be something at some point, but there’s certainly no plans at the moment. I want to very much move on and do something new. I’d like to do something (pregnant pause)… new! (Laughs.)

Mi sembra che fate un po'troppo tutto tragico....per ora c'è l'audio...non è escluso che la versione video esca + avanti.. Nulla comunqe era dovuto secondo me, da parte di Kate. Prendere o lasciare. Stop. Comunque dovete spiegarmi dove c'è il revival anni 70 in BTD! Boh.... Capisco comunque la delusione per chi purtroppo non ha potuto assistere ad una data...ma per chi come me che l'ha vista dal vivo a Londra, rivivere quell'atmosfera, anche se solo "audio" sarà una cosa impagabile, la mia mente mi trasporterà nei ricordi x la parte "video"! Comunque, ripeto...non è detto che non uscirà mai un DVD perchè comunque le riprese video sono state acquisite....
Da alcuni giorni sta circolando una voce (non ufficiale) che vedrebbe dicembre (..se non addirittura fine novembre..) l'uscita del tanto atteso DVD+CD di BEFORE THE DAWN!! from Kate... I am so sad and shocked to hear the tragic news about Prince. He was the most incredibly talented artist. A man in complete control of his work from writer and musician to producer and director. He was such an inspiration.
Questo è invece ciò che ha voluto scrivere Kate su David, apparso nel quotidiano The Observer del 17 gennaio: David Bowie had everything. He was intelligent, imaginative, brave, charismatic, cool, sexy and truly inspirational both visually and musically. He created such staggeringly brilliant work, yes, but so much of it and it was so good. There are great people who make great work but who else has left a mark like his? No one like him.
I’m struck by how the whole country has been flung into mourning and shock. Shock, because someone who had already transcended into immortality could actually die. He was ours. Wonderfully eccentric in a way that only an Englishman could be.
Whatever journey his beautiful soul is now on, I hope he can somehow feel how much we all miss him.
